Hello, I'm glad you're here!
As a clinical psychologist, I used to treat children and families. Now I spend most of my days working with adults, helping them to make their organizations run safer, better, and faster. It's rewarding to help people achieve their goals. You might be surprised how much of my training as a child psychologist applies to working with people of all ages and companies of all sizes.
My work has helped me appreciate how risky life can be and what amazing things people do to keep our world spinning. In 2017, I'll realize one of my own goals that grew out of my consulting work. I'll be publishing my first book with a reputable company - Rowman & Littlefield Publishers. The book's title hasn't been chosen yet, but it's about the psychology of preventing medical errors (to be released in 2017).
The writing process was enlightening and satisfying, so I've begun working on my next book. It will showcase the extraordinary risks and measures seemingly ordinary citizens take every day to benefit others, like keeping motors running, ships sailing, buildings standing, water systems pumping, and, of course, patients safe.
I hope you'll stay tuned, stay in touch, and remember to have fun - even at work. It works wonders.
